Writing Task-1
You recently went to a concert and thought one of the singers was very good. You want to tell how you feel.
Write a letter to the singer.
In your letter:
* say how you feel about his/her performance
* give details of your music-related activities
* explain how you would like him/her to help you with your music- related activities
Dear Mr. Kumar Sanu,
I am a great admirer of your music and writing this letter to congratulate you for a brilliant performance at the City Center last evening. It was a really breathtaking and thrilling concert for me. I always had a dream to see your live concert and fortunately it came true yesterday.
I am a budding (promising) musician and I started playing the guitar and drums at age of 10. In the meantime (Meanwhile), I have composed a few songs for the band I am involved in. Actually, I have been a member of a local music band called “Unlimited Dreams" for the last four years and we mainly focus on playing pop and rock music. You have been my idol (favorite musician) since my boyhood.
However, I will be very much delighted if you provide me with some tips and suggestions to improve my musical career. Needless to say that your guidance and advice will help me a lot to enhance my skill and boost up my confidence.
Thank you very much for your contributions to the music world.
Yours sincerely,
Ahmed Chowdhury

Writing Task-2
Many people work long hours, leaving
very little time for leisure activities.
Does this situation have more advantages or more disadvantages?
Nowadays it is usually found that several people work for long hours and have hardly any time for entertaining activities. I think working for a long time with less time for leisure activities can cause more harm to people than any benefit.
Definitely, there are some basic benefits for working long hours than having less time for leisure activities. Firstly, by working longer hours, human beings can earn more money and meet their desired wants and needs. In other words, by earning more money numerous people can fulfill their various luxurious requirements. Secondly, as many people enjoy their work, they neither intend to take leave nor spend time on enjoyable activities. This habit makes them work for longer hours without thinking that they need leisure activities for their recreation, entertainment and amusement. Therefore, lots of people indulge in working for a longer duration due to their satisfactory jobs and to fulfill their personal demands.
On the other hand, various individuals (people) can face serious consequences by working longer and spending less time for fun-based activities. One potentially dangerous problem is that only working and without taking enough breaks for enjoyment can lead people to a stressful life. Many psychologists opine that the people, who have less time for their hobbies and work longer for earning money, they must suffer in their family life. Since most of the time a large section of people are actively engrossed in office work, they get less time to spend with family. Such a tendency weakens their family bonding.
In conclusion, working more and spending less time for recreational activities can cause serious drawbacks for every person. Such a mentality can cause health-related problems and weak family connections which can cause more harm to people than any minor advantage it may bring.
